Well this week I learned a lot about something found in Matthew 25:14-30 about the parable of the talents.

14 ¶For the kingdom of heaven is as a man traveling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.
15 And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.
16 Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents.
17 And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two.
18 But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord’s money.
19 After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them.
20 And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.
21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
22 He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.
23 His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
24 Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed:
25 And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo,there thou hast that is thine.
26 His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed:
27 Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.
28 Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.
29 For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.
30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

This is a very interesting story.Because well we can see two different people the people who go and double what they were given and the people who just don't do anything with it. We all have hidden talents we just need to find out what they are. just like the person who had the 5 and the 2 they went and made 5 and 2 more. they went out and made their talents show if we can say that but the one hid his talents and then when the man came back well he gave them what they deserved. the two rulers but the one nothing more like he robbed the man. Now When I think of this Parable I think to myself am I producing good works or more talents or am I just hidding them. Well I think I have many talents like soccer which right now I'm heading so If you get the news I'm on the national team dont worry I'm just taking this parable to heart. haha Just Kidding, Its not those talents I am thinking of. I am thinking of the spiritually talents that we have. Are we keeping Spiritual gifts to ourselves? One thing that I have learned is to be humble and to speak by the power of the sprit.
And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:

That's what I do haha. It something really quite interesting to feel this power and to feel the power it has on other people. I know I learn a lot about the Spirit I think Every Person does as they grow more in the Gospel that's the way they grow. We all grow Spiritually. to share our gifts and to multiply our "talents". I have seen in me my talents multiplying. One person told me yesterday that "Elder Monson, why are you so nice to everyone?" I had no idea that I was being nice to her but I guess I learned that from my parents they are always loving and caring to everyone. I learned another one that someone asked me about t he other day, they said, " Elder how can you teach that powerfully and how can I teach like you?" Wait a minute i was teaching with power? He said, Elder Monson you where teaching with the power from god with your nice calm voice that you have.  the Spirit teaches us some really great things doesn't it. The Spirit is a great thing to always have with us. Why don't we always try to make our spiritual talents multiply everyday!!! then we can become a more spiritual people
Well I hope you all have a great week I will have a wonderful week and a great Birthday!!!
 Love you all!!
